Easily install the new Premiere Pro extension by first  downloading the extension. Before we start, the minimum supported version is Premiere is 9.0.2.
If you are using a Mac, double-click on the .dmg file that is downloaded and this will open the Installer. If you are using a PC, double-click on the .exe file.

Next, click Install Plugin (on Mac) or Install Extension (on PC) to begin the installation.

After running the installer, restart Adobe Premiere. In Premiere's navigation bar, click  Window > Extensions > select 

  • If you are using a Mac and do not see in your Extensions list, you most likely are on OS X 10.10 Yosemite and need to update the folder permissions of the Adobe Extensions. Follow these instructions to change the correct folder permissions.
  • If you are using a PC and do not see in your Extensions list, you may have to install the extension manually by using these instructions.

This will open in a separate window. Enter your login credentials and then you should see your projects in this window. If you are having difficulty entering your Google credentials due to the 2-step verification process, please see these options to get around this. To move this extension into your Editing panel, drag it onto the Premiere window where you would like to access it.

After making this change, save your Workspace by going to
>Workspaces > Save Changes to this Workplace or Save as New Workplace if you want to create a separate specific workplace. The next time you open Premiere, if you still do not see, click Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout.
