Blackmagic Design built a native integration that is only available on Resolve 16 Studio and 17 Studio. Previous Studio versions and any free versions of Resolve are not supported. Please note, there have been no recent updates from Blackmagic for this integration, which means bugs and unexpected behavior are expected. Feature requests and bugs for this integration will likely not be addressed in the future. in DaVinci Resolve Explained

Resolve will automatically swap the proxy with the full resolution file once downloading is complete.
