Move assets within your project, move a single file, multiple files or an entire folder. Assets can only be moved within the same project, however, you can copy assets between projects.
 

Moving a single asset

Open the menu options on the file you wish to move by clicking the three dots, select Move to Folder from the dropdown, select the destination you’d like to move the asset to, expand/collapse folders in the menu to find the correct location.

Moving multiple assets

To move multiple assets at one time, click the file and hold down command (Mac) cntrl (Windows) to select the additional files, right click to open your menu options and from there select Move to Folder and choose the location from the folder tree

Moving a folder

To move a folder, open the menu options on the folder you wish to move, select Move to Folder from the dropdown, select the destination you’d like to move the asset to from the folder tree.

When you have a file/folder selected to move, use the Z keyboard shortcut to open the move to menu options 🚀 

 

Keyboard shortcuts

  • Z Key = opens the move to modal when a file is selected
  • Right arrow = expand folder
  • Enter key = expand folder
  • Left arrow = Collapse folder
  • Up arrow = move up the list
  • Down arrow = move down the list
  • Enter (2x very fast) = Confirm move


Note: Collaborators can only move assets that they have uploaded themselves. Private folders will only be visible to Team Members.
