Frame.io offers three dashboards within your Account Settings to allow you to manage your users and teams.

Users

From Users, you can add and remove Team Members, and remove Collaborators from your account. This page offers you a place to easily adjust all of these.

Adding New Team Members

On your Users page in Account Settings, click on New Users at the top right.

If you're adding to multiple teams, select the team you'd like to invite the Team Member to, enter the user(s) email address, and click Invite. You can also choose if you’d like to add these new users as a Team Member, or as an admin.

Adding Collaborators

When you select New Users at the top right, you can also select a Collaborator role.

Once you select a Team, you can choose projects to add a user to.

Removing Users

To remove a user from your team, click on the user you wish to remove. Once the user has been selected, you'll see options appear on bottom of your screen, which will have a Delete User option on the right.

Removing a user from your Team means they will no longer have access to any projects on your Team. Any content they have uploaded, along with any comments they've made, will remain.

Once a user is removed, the account will be given credit back based on the amount of unused time of the user purchase.

Filter and Export

Filter your Users by their role on the account at the top of the page:

Export a user breakdown from the top of the page as well with ‘Export View’. This will reflect what is within your Users page based on your filters and search results, if they’re applied.

Note: When you view an individual user, you’ll want to take note of their access. The teams and projects they have access to will be shown. As Team Members have access to all public projects by default, these won’t be listed a second time under their Projects. Only the projects they have direct access to as a Collaborator will be listed.

Teams

Teams gives you a view into your teams, all in one place. This tab is available for Enterprise accounts only. Contact our Sales team to discuss our Enterprise option. Support documentation for Enterprise can be found here.

Export a team breakdown from the top of the page as well with ‘Export View’. This will reflect what is within your Teams page based on your filters and search results, if they’re applied.

If you have an Enterprise account, you can refer to this article for more information for multi-team management and settings.

Projects

The Projects tab gives you a view all Projects on your account in one place.

Export a project breakdown from the top of the page as well with ‘Export View’. This will reflect what is within your Projects page based on your filters and search results, if they’re applied.

Project Details

From within the Project panel, you can update Project Settings, such as Project Privacy via the Access toggle. Click on a project to open its view.

The projects panel also shows project details about the project and its Collaborators, or Project Members. You can also archive and delete the project from within the panel.

FAQ

What are we using as criteria for “last active” on the users page?

Last Active time is the last time a User has been active within any one of your account’s Projects. This last active time gets updated whenever a user accesses:

  • The project grid view for a Project within your account

  • An asset within a Project

  • A Review Link within a Project or any assets within the Review Link

  • A Presentation Link from a Project

What do the different icons for pending users mean?

  • If a pending user already has a Frame.io login when they are invited to your icon, you’ll see a person icon next to their email. If they don’t have a Frame.io login when they’re invited to your account, you’ll see an hourglass icon next to their email.
